In this blog entry I am going to talk about my reaction from my first blog and about my experiences of appearing on RTE Nationwide Programme.
Firstly I would like to say how happy I was with the reaction from my family and friends on how good the blog is. People could not believe how much I have improved and how I was able to write the whole thing myself.
Secondly I am also happy on my appearance on RTE on the Nationwide show. They came into the Headway Centre and recorded us doing a couple of lessons, they had a couple of one to one interviews with us just speaking about what happened to us and what the outcome of our illness was and what we do in the centre. The RTE crew were very good at making us feel at ease and made the day very enjoyable. I did not know what way the programme would turn out and was nervous when I got the call to say it was on TV. I was happy with the finished piece and I got a great reaction from my family and friends.
To do both of these things builds your confidence and encourages you to go on and improve more.In my next blog entry I plan to talk about how my A.B.I. has affected my family. Talk to you soon.
