Table Quiz Success

Well since my last blog there has been a lot going on. Myself and Deirdre from Headway decided to run a fund raiser on brain injury week. We held a quiz in the Round Towers club in Clondalkin.
We put a lot of work into it doing up leaflets posters getting the info put into the Towers newsletter, answer sheets and my Husband Denis did up all the questions, getting raffle tickets and of course getting the spot prices for the raffle. People were very generous and we had a Hugh amount of spot prices.
On the night I was shocked with the amount of people that turned up. We had 33 tables and raised a fantastic amount of €1,600. People were so good and seem to enjoy themselves. We had some people up from Wexford and Cork. It was great seeing all my friends and it made me feel so good that people were willing to give up their time to help us raise this amount of money.
I will finish by saying well done to Deirdre, Denis, Gary, Hugh, Marian and Mrs Whelan and last but not least myself Martina. And thank you to everyone came along. It made the night . . .
