This week (6th to 12th March) is Brain Awareness Week. Coordinated by the Neurological Alliance, the aim of the week is to raise awareness of neurological conditions, including brain injury. Headway is one of several organisations participating in this years campaign and there are things going on in each of our centres during the week. In our Cork service, family members have a dedicated day (Monday) with workshops on Legal Matters, Pain Management, Nutrition, Yoga for all, Financial Matters, Life Planning, Resilience & Compassion fatigue and Mindfulness. In Limerick on Wednesday, an event "Living Positively with Brain Injury" takes place in the Health Hub, and in Dublin, the Headway Choir will sing on Tuesday afternoon at Heuston Station concourse. See the Headway events going on in your area.
