Carers - a Week for You!

National Carers Week is on from Monday 14th to Sunday 20th June.
This is going to be a week to celebrate family Carers, and for Carers to take some time out for themselves.
There will be lots of free events all over the country for you to enjoy. Visit www.carersweek.ie to see what's on.
Here in Headway, we will be marking the week in all our centres, and are having events open to the public in Dublin, Limerick and Kilkenny.
Kilkenny
What's on: The Carers Association and Headway will hold a coffee morning open to all Family Carers.

Limerick
What's on: Family Workshop - we will provide information and education for families and Carers of people with brain injury from a stroke, an illness or an accident. We will look at how a brain injury can affect people, and at practical coping strategies for family members. Tea/Coffee will be served.

What's on: 'A Date with Wellness'
Do you care for someone who has had a brain injury from perhaps a stroke, a head injury or an illness?
If you do, we would like to invite you to a morning where you can:
- take some time just for you,
- explore ways of easing stress,
- meet other Carers & share experiences
- enjoy some delicious refreshments and have some fun!
Sonya Walsh and Ciaran Nolan, from Headway will be facilitating the morning.
