Carers Week off to flying start

The third annual National Carers Week was formally launched yesterday in the Mansion House, Dublin by Lord Mayor Eibhlin Byrne. Over 80 events are taking place throughout the country during the week to celebrate the contribution made by Ireland's 161,000 carers. Headway's own day out for Carers on Saturday, held in Airfield House, Dundrum, was a great success. A huge thanks to all involved.
