Qigong Exercise Impact on Mood following brain injury

A study conducted in Nottingham, UK recently indicated preliminary evidence for the benefit of Tai Chi Chuan (QiGong) exercise for people with a traumatic brain injury. Whilst the study did not find any evidence for physical benefits of the exercise, it did indicate an improvement in mood and self-esteem in those participating. The authors recommend further research in the area. Read about the study here.
