The NAI Innovation Award 2010
Each year in March, the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) organises Brain Awareness Week. The NAI is an umbrella group of charities working with people with neurological conditions and Headway is a member. The aim of Brain Awareness Week is to highlight issues that affect people with neurological conditions and to create more awareness amongst the general public, healthcare professionals, the media and policy makers.
This year, Brain Awareness Week runs from the 8th to 14th March and the theme is: "Services for People with Neurological Conditions in Ireland: Innovations and Solutions."
To promote the theme of innovation, the NAI in association with Medtronic will present an Innovation Award as part of Brain Awareness Week 2010. The award will recognise outstanding achievement in the development and/ or delivery of innovative solutions that have improved (or which have the potential to improve) the quality of life of people living with a neurological condition in Ireland.
