Keith Barry gives Bikers a great send-off for Brain Awareness Week
7 Mar 2010
Keith Barry and supportersHeadway Ambassador, Keith Barry turned out to entertain the crowds and over 50 Bikers who did a charity run for Headway as the launch to this years Brain Awareness Week. On a glorious Sunday morning Dublin families were entertained with facepainters, balloons and the sight of gleaming leather and chrome (that's the bikes). The bikers set off with for a circuit of Stephen's Green before heading off to a tour of Wicklow in the spring sunshine.
A huge "THANK YOU" to all the bikers who participated, the families who came along, Headway staff, and everyone who volunteered. We would also like to thank PR Reilly Ltd, BOC Gases Ireland Ltd, Insomnia, Cassidy Covers and Promethea for their generous assistance to us in putting the event together. You all helped to make the day a great success.
This biker run was organised by Headway to raise awareness of brain injury. For other events happening in your area during the week, see our event listing page here.
