A new study in Australia is trying to shine a light on the potentially controversial and contentious links between sports activity and head injury. In a recent analysis of male Rugby players who reported 3 or more concussions, the conclusion is that:
"a history of three or more self-reported concussions in active athletes may have a detrimental effect on cognitive function."
