Emma Makes "Headway" for Charity!

31 May, 2010: Emma Hopwood, eflow and Deirdre Patel, Headway Ireland 'took their places' today to mark the beginning of eflow's summer charity drive. eflow has nominated Headway Ireland as one of its charities of choice to benefit from the company's fundraising activities.

Headway Ireland provides support and services to people affected by acquired brain injury (ABI). ABI is the term given to any injury to the brain sustained during the course of a person's life. According to Headway Ireland there are up to 30,000 people between the ages of 16-65 living with problems associated with brain injury in Ireland. Brain injury is also the foremost cause of death and disability in young people.

Emma will participate in this year's Flora Women's Mini Marathon to raise funds for Headway Ireland.

Director of Communications for eflow, Simon McBeth was on hand to wish Emma luck.
