Campaign for Neurology Services Launched

A Major new report highlighting the state of Neurology services in Ireland and proposing a National Programme for Neurolgical Care has just been released by the Neurological Alliance of Ireland.
The Future for Neurological Conditions in Ireland: A Challenge for Healthcare; an Opportunity for Change is now available to download free of charge from the Neurological Alliance of Ireland website www.nai.ie. The NAI has brought together leading neurospecialists, academics, researchers and health agencies in an essential guide to neurological care in our health service.

Ireland continues to lag far behind other European countries for many aspects of neurological care. The Neurological Alliance of Ireland is asking for your support for its campaign for a National Programme for Neurological Care by the HSE which will prioritise planning and investment in services for people with neurological conditions, which affect over 700,000 people in this country.
