Headway - Life After Brain Injury

The Rocky Road to Dublin

4 Aug 2010

Last Friday, at twenty five past midday, Conor Kilbride completed an amazing journey which had started five days, one hour and twenty five minutes earlier. Conor, a medic with the defence forces, walked all the way on foot from Eyre Square in Galway to Dublin's O'Connell Street, a distance of 207km (that's 129 miles!) to raise awareness for Headway. Conor, pictured here in the Headway T-shirt with his colleague Wayne, who also completed the walk, was met by a welcoming committee of Dublin Day Service users at the Spire on a wet Friday lunchtime.

A huge thanks to Conor for for his feat (and his feet).
