Survivors Spell it Out - The A to Z of Brain Injury

As part of Brain Awareness Week, 2011 Headway are delighted to announce a new publication available for download. Produced by clients of the Day Rehabilitation Service in Lucan, Dublin, the A to Z of Brain Injury is a guide to the most common aspects of brain injury experienced by survivors.
Headway's Lyndsay O'Toole comments: "The document was created by our Thursday morning advocacy group over a two month period. The group wanted to have a quick reference guide for people in hospital, their friends and family which had all the things they wished they'd been told. The group felt that at the time they had their injuries, the doctors and nurses did pass on information but not always in simple language"
