"Speak Up" Groups in Blanchardstown

30 Aug 2016

Speak Up is a conversation group for people living with aphasia that meets in Blanchardstown Library.  The group runs the last Thursday of every month, in Blanchardstown library, 10.30-12.30. It is an opportunity to meet other people with aphasia and to chat.

How do I join?

New members can be referred by a speech and language therapist, using this referral form or get in touch with us here at Headway and we can advise you further

Who will be there?

Other people with aphasia will be at Speak Up, also there are some volunteers and usually a Speech and Language Therapist.

What happens at Speak Up?

We talk about things that are going on in the world. The volunteers are trained to communicate with people with aphasia. So everybody is included in the conversation.
