Research Project: Family Members Needed

3 Feb 2017

Family Members - Your opportunity to participate in a study exploring your needs

If you are a family member of an individual with an acquired brain injury, you are invited to take part in an undergraduate research study that is exploring perceptions of the need for health-related information, support, and involvement in care, following ABI to a family member. We would be very interested in hearing about your needs as this has the potential to help us to understand the experience of family members and to provide the best services in the most helpful way to support all of those affected by brain injury.

If you would be interested in filling out a questionnaire over the phone at a time that is convenient for you, please contact any of the following researchers involved:

Deirdre Murphy (DCU):

Prof. Teresa Burke (DCU):

Elaine Kelly (Headway):

Please note that  you must be at least 18 years of age and the individual you are related to must have sustained their ABI at least 6 months ago

Before you participate in the study, we will send you a Consent Form via post or email that we would ask that you sign and return to the DCU research team if you wish to participate.
