Limerick Move Update
6 Mar 2017
There is a buzz around the training centre in Limerick for the past while and it has got louder since Christmas. The only thing anybody wants to talk about these days is the new building and the big move.
From being under the shadow of the Clayton Hotel since 2003 behind the Dock Road to moving onto William Street in the centre of Limerick city, it has clients and staff more than a little giddy. For many reasons, everybody within the centre is looking forward to finally being able to grace William Street with our presence.
The new location brings many positives. A bigger building, more accessible via public transport in the area, a kitchen for catering groups, the opportunity to hold events such as art exhibitions or graduation ceremonies, rooms for mindfulness, space for boccia……these are some of the things that were mentioned.
One of the most important things though is that it is the environment that clients have more than deserved and our patience around finding the right fit has really paid off. An environment for the same warm, caring and supportive atmosphere that we currently have on the Dock Road to thrive in.
We all are under no illusion though. We understand the move brings a lot of challenges but challenges we don’t mind since we know what the end product is. There is work around moving old furniture, finding new furniture, colours of the walls and carpets. Clients have provided valuable input on making the bigger building easier to manoeuvre around when looking for the new training rooms or what they feel is necessary for Headway as a service.
Clients have provided input on the launch as well. Giving us feedback on how they would like it to go and if there is anyone in particular they would like to invite when an official opening date is set.
The countdown is on now to the big move and it cannot come soon enough.blog comments powered by Disqus
