Massive increase in demand for service

5 May 2017

Headway has just published it's official outcome statistics for 2016, and the picture that emerges confirms recent trends. The demand for Headway's service increased by an enormous 44% compared to 2015. Despite having no increase in funding support, the organisation has managed to increase the amount of service provided whilst still maintaining high quality outcomes for people affected by brain injury. Of note this year, we have been monitoring the impact of our service on people's overal life satisfaction. The results show an overall improvement of 12% as measured by the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS).
