Request a Speaker
Most people only come to know about brain injury when unfortunately it occurs to themselves, a family member or friend.
Brain injury can happen to anyone at anytime. Common causes are road traffic accidents, strokes, brain haemorrhage, tumour, falls and assaults.
You can request a speaker for an information talk at your work place, school, university or community centre. Find out more about brain injury and Headways rehabilitative services.
You will be helping us to raise awareness of brain injury in the wider community, its consequences and how to access supports in your community.
Please contact Ruth Lunnon (01) 60 40 800 or firstname.lastname@example.org to request a talk.
Between 9,000 - 11,000 people sustain a brain injury in Ireland with a further 7,000 diagnosed with a stroke.
